Michael Alan Goldberg is based in Philadelphia, and specializes in concert photography, portraits, and event photography. He also has a keen interest in experimental photography and documenting abandoned places.

His work has been published in numerous magazines, newspapers, websites, and other media outlets including Spin, The New York Times, Blender, Pitchfork, National Public Radio, Village Voice Media newspapers, NME, Philadelphia Weekly, Boston Phoenix, and elsewhere, and he has exhibited his photos in both solo and group shows.

He is currently the house photographer for WXPN/World Cafe Live; other clients have included Warner Brothers Records, Quannum Projects, Superheadz/PowerShovel Inc., Thrill Jockey Records, High Two Records, Lujo Records, KEXP, and Burning Hearts Burlesque.

Shooting with both digital and film gear -- including a healthy arsenal of toy, vintage, and otherwise quirky cameras -- he can usually be found in dark clubs and sundry watering holes, wandering city streets, or driving along backroads in search of the hidden and/or forgotten.
